A Volunteer's Experience

Vivian Webber has been a friend of our community for many years

and graciously volunteers for guest house work.

I enjoy, appreciate, and treasure my times at the Abbey. When my husband died, the quiet and natural beauty formed a cocoon around me so I could deal with the changes. Later, as I made friends among the volunteers, brothers and priests, my spiritual life was rekindled. I’ve emerged happy and whole and I want to thank you for your presence in my life. Every time I turn into the driveway, I feel a calmness that no matter how busy and hectic the guesthouse might be leaves me enriched. Volunteering at the Abbey is the rock in my life.
